To register to STERNA WORKER APP, you must provide us information such as your full names and surnames, gender, date of birth, nationality, address, city, national identification number, passport, email address, spoke languages, mobile number, as well as create your password.

In your profile there are different information that you must register, such as your education level, supporting documents about your studies, work experience, supporting documents about your jobs, national and international driving license, marital status, answer a questionnaire of your cross-cutting skills and upload a profile photography.

Once publishing the profile, it will be visible to international companies, and the data provided will be evidenced.

We may need to disclose your information when it’s required by law, in a citation or other legal proceeding or if we believe, in good faith, that the disclosure is reasonably necessary to (1) investigate, prevent or act against alleged illegal activities or to help to the security forces; (2) to enforce the Terms and Conditions of use; (3) investigate and defend against claims or allegations of third parties; (4) protect the security or integrity of our Services, or (5) to enforce or protect the rights and security of STERNA, our CANDIDATES, companies, agencies, our staff or others.

We will try to notify the candidates that their personal data has been legally requested when we consider it appropriate to our judgment, unless it is prohibited by law, by a court order or when the request is an emergency. We may question such requirements when we consider, in our opinion, when the requests are not very specific, not clear or lack of necessary authority, although we do not undertake to challenge each request.

 

3.3. CONTROL CHANGE OR SALE

4.1. DATA PERSERVATION

We keep most of your personal data as long as you keep active in the STERNA WORKER APP, we will also keep the personal data you provide us while your profile is active in the STERNA WORKER APP or to the extent necessary to provide you with the services. This includes the data that you and others have provided to us or the data generated or inferred from your use of the services. Even if you are only waiting for an offer, we will keep your information and keep your profile active until you decide to close the account in the STERNA WORKER APP.

4.3. CLOSE ACCOUNT

We keep some of your data even after you have closed your account. If you decide to close your STERNA WORKER APP account, your personal data will no longer be seen in our services, within 72 hours. Normally, we delete the information of the accounts closed within three (3) months from the closing of the account, except in the cases mentioned below.

We will keep your business and personal data even after closing the account if it is reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations (including, requests from law enforcement), meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, avoid cases of fraud and abuse. We apply our Terms of use or fulfill your request to unsubscribe from future messages you receive from STERNA. Once your account has been closed, we will retain depersonalized information.

We control and try to prevent security failures. Use the security features available in our services. We apply security measures designed to protect your data. We periodically monitor our systems to detect possible vulnerabilities and attacks. However, we cannot guarantee the security of the information you send us. There is no guarantee that the data cannot be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed in case of filtration or infringement of our security control, including physical, technical or management measures.

 

5.2. CROSS-BORDER DATA TRANSFERS

We store and use your data outside your country and also process data worldwide and rely on legal mechanisms to legally transfer data between countries.
